What to expect
We are looking for a talented and motivated DevOps Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in infrastructure automation and release processes, along with a strong passion for cloud technologies.
In this role, you will work closely with the architects and operations teams to design, implement, and manage solutions that enhance the efficiency, scalability, and reliability of our systems. You will be a key figure in our journey toward adopting advanced DevOps practices and automation.
What you will do
- Design, implement, and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
- Develop and maintain Ansible playbooks for configuration management and deployment automation.
- Collaborate on designing and optimizing Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment pipelines.
- Ensure fast, reliable, and secure release processes.
- Manage and optimize our resources on Public Cloud platforms (preferably GCP, or alternatively AWS).
- Implement solutions for service monitoring, logging, and alerting.
- Research, evaluate, and propose new technologies and methodologies to improve automation and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with the team to define automation best practices and standards.
What we expect from you
- Terraform: Proven experience in writing and managing Infrastructure as Code.
- Ansible: Solid knowledge in creating and maintaining playbooks for configuration management.
- Public Cloud: Significant experience with at least one major cloud provider (preferably GCP, or alternatively AWS), including compute, networking, and storage services.
- Containers: Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- Python: Knowledge of the Python scripting language for automating complex tasks will be considered a significant plus.
- CI/CD Tools: Experience with tools such as GitLab CI, or similar.
