Job Description:

SOLUTIONS ARCHITECT DIGITAL ENGINEER

Support mission-critical initiatives and enable the growth of our business as a Solutions Architect Digital Engineer at GDIT. Here, you’ll become an integral part of how GDIT is able to ensure the safety and security of our nation.

MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT As a Solutions Architect Digital Engineer, the work you’ll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of clients both internal and external to GDIT. You will play a crucial role in analyzing requirements, proposing and implementing model-based solutions that meet the customer's needs while minimizing risks to costs and schedule.

● Lead/Manage/Support

  • Role requires performing requirements analysis, developing solution architectures at multiple abstraction layers (operational, logical, functional), and performing verification with traceability to requirements
  • Responsible for developing model-based solution architecture(s) for rapid capability development and demonstration
  • Ability to articulate digital engineering concepts such as requirements traceability, model execution, design performance via simulation and digital threading in narrative formats
  • In addition, the successful candidate will identify risk(s) to inform cost and schedule impacts to performance

● Collaborate with other digital engineers and client representatives to form appropriate solutions ● Drive the pursuit of best practice excellence for MBSE across GDIT ● Utilize MBSE techniques and tools appropriate to the mission needs

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED Bring your initiative and drive for innovation to GDIT. The Solutions Architect Digital Engineer must have: ● Education: Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science with 10+ years experience required. Advanced degrees may substitute for a portion of the required experience (e.g. Master's degree with 8+ years, or PH.D. with 6+ years). ● Experience: 10+ years of related experience

● Technical skills:

  • 2+ years experience with SysML modeling using Dassault Cameo
  • 2+ years experience with Java programming to drive Cameo via its OpenAPI
  • 2+ years experience with Java programming with Apache TinkerPop Gremlin API
  • Demonstrable experience with programs utilizing Agile methodology for software development
  • Working knowledge of cloud computing, cloud infrastructure, CI/CD and DevSecOps
  • Demonstrable, pragmatic fusion of architecture, design and implementation skills

● Excellent communication and presentation skills ● Ability to brief customers, partners and senior staff

● Security clearance level: Ability to obtain a SECRET security clearance required ● US citizenship required ● Role requirements: Travel of 10-25% possible

Preferred skills but not required:

● 2+ years experience with: graphical data visualization technologies

● Experience responding to Department of War requests for proposal (RFP) and requests for information (RFI)

The likely salary range for this position is $149,469 - $186,300. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.

Paid leave and paid holidays are prorated based on the employee’s date of hire. The GDIT Paid Family Leave program provides a total of up to 160 hours of paid leave in a rolling 12 month period for eligible employees.
