Description

Position Title: Finance Analyst - FP&A

Location: Taguig City, Metro Manila – 2 days per week onsite 

Role Purpose 

The Group Financial Planning team acts as the analytical engine of the business, providing data-driven insights to support strategic decision making across the Group. We partner with senior leaders, including the CFO and CEO, to understand performance, challenge assumptions, and identify opportunities to improve business outcomes. 

As a Finance Analyst, you will play a key role in transforming financial and operational data into meaningful insights that support decision making. You will be responsible for analysing business performance, producing management information, and communicating key trends and drivers to stakeholders across the organisation. 

This role is well suited to a commercially curious individual who enjoys working with data but is equally comfortable engaging with stakeholders, explaining findings, and influencing actions. Over time, the role offers opportunities to broaden into FP&A and Finance Business Partnering activities.

 

Key Responsibilities

Summary 

·      Produce and distribute daily, weekly and monthly performance reporting for senior management and business stakeholders. 

·       Analyse financial and operational KPI data to identify trends, risks, opportunities and key performance drivers. 

·       Translate data into clear, actionable insights and recommendations to support informed decision making. 

·       Support forecasting, budgeting and planning processes through the provision of high-quality analysis. 

·       Partner with stakeholders across finance and the wider business to understand information requirements and provide meaningful analysis. 

·       Challenge assumptions, investigate performance variances, and proactively highlight areas requiring management attention. 

·       Assist in the preparation of financial presentations, management reports and dashboards for senior leadership. 

·       Collaborate with team members and wider finance team on ad hoc analysis, projects and strategic initiatives. 

·       Identify opportunities to improve reporting, processes, automation and data quality across the finance function. 

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

Essential 

·       Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. 

·       Strong analytical and problem-solving capability. 

·       Experience working with large and complex datasets. 

·       Ability to interpret financial and operational information and communicate key messages clearly. 

·       Strong verbal and written communication skills. 

·       Ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders at different levels of the organisation. 

·       Proactive, curious and commercially minded approach. 

Desirable 

·       Adaptive Planning/Workday Financials Experience 

·       Experience presenting insights and recommendations to non-finance audiences. 

·       Understanding of financial modelling techniques.
