Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Azure DevOps Platform Architect with deep expertise across the Azure DevOps ecosystem, including Boards, Repos, Pipelines, Test Plans, Artifacts, Security, Governance, and Integrations. The candidate should also have working knowledge of core Azure services used in cloud deployments and automation. The ideal candidate will assess current-state environments, define target-state Azure DevOps architecture, lead migrations from Azure DevOps Server to Azure DevOps Services and GitHub, establish governance and DevSecOps practices, and support Azure deployment automation through CI/CD pipelines.
Required Experience Azure DevOps Server and Azure DevOps Services Azure Boards, Repos, Pipelines, Test Plans, and Artifacts GitHub Enterprise Cloud and GitHub Actions CI/CD, DevSecOps, release management, and YAML-based automation Infrastructure as code using Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates Working knowledge of Azure services such as App Service, Functions, AKS, Storage, Key Vault, Azure SQL, Azure Monitor, and Analytics Identity, security, permissions, service connections, RBAC, and governance Azure DevOps REST APIs, scripting, integrations, and automation Enterprise-scale migrations and platform modernization
Key Responsibilities Assess and architect Azure DevOps platforms Define governance, operating models, and best practices Lead migrations of work items, repositories, pipelines, and testing assets Establish CI/CD and DevSecOps standards for applications and Azure deployments Develop reusable pipeline templates and infrastructure automation patterns Design security, access-control, and service-connection models Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and implementation guidance
Preferred 10+ years of DevOps/ALM experience Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert certification preferred Experience supporting Azure deployments, infrastructure automation, or cloud modernization initiatives Experience leading enterprise Azure DevOps and GitHub transformation initiatives
Ideal Candidate: A hands-on Azure DevOps expert who can advise on platform architecture, migrations, CI/CD, security, governance, and integrations, while also being comfortable with core Azure services, infrastructure as code, and automated cloud deployments."
The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is:$130000- $150000
Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. This range may be subject to change as permitted by law.
The actual compensation offered to any candidate may fall outside of the posted range and will be determined based on multiple factors legally permitted in the applicable jurisdiction.

It is not typical for candidates to be hired at or near the top of the posted compensation range.
In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
