iOS Engineer – Podme

As a part of our vision to enrich people’s lives through stories, we’re looking for a skilled iOS Engineer to join our team in Stockholm. In this role, you’ll work closely with teammates in product, design, backend, and QA to continuously improve our iOS app. Your contributions will help ensure a seamless, delightful experience for our growing user base across podcasts and audiobooks.

What You’ll Do

• Contribute to the implementation of scalable and modern architecture as defined by the team.

• Develop, test, and release high-quality iOS applications using Swift and SwiftUI.

• Collaborate closely with product, design, backend, QA, and DevOps to support the delivery of impactful features.

• Write clean, maintainable code with appropriate test coverage.

• Support automated testing and app stability in collaboration with QA.

• Help manage CI/CD pipelines in collaboration with DevOps.

• Participate in code reviews and share best practices.

What You Bring

You care about performance, user experience, and building maintainable, scalable solutions. You enjoy writing clean code, collaborating, bring an investigative mindset, and solving complex technical problems.

• Strong understanding of Apple’s design and development guidelines.

• Strong investigative mindset with a structured approach to problem-solving and debugging.

• Good understanding of SwiftUI and Reactive programming (Combine/RxSwift/ReactiveSwift).

• Some understanding of CoreData/SwiftData and Streaming (AVFoundation)

• Experience building scalable, extendable architectures.

• Hands-on experience with CI/CD and app monitoring.

• Strong cross-functional communication and collaboration skills.

Bonus Points If You Have:

• Experience building and maintaining apps with a large user base

• Knowledge of DRM (Digital Rights Management) for secure content delivery

• Familiarity with CarPlay, Apple Watch or Chromecast development
