Continuity Global Solutions (CGS) is seeking an experienced Project Manager (PM) to provide full-time leadership and oversight of security operations supporting a U.S. Government contract.
The Project Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Local Guard Force, contract compliance, personnel oversight, quality control, risk management, and coordination with U.S. Government representatives. The successful candidate will bring extensive security management experience, strong leadership skills, and a thorough understanding of overseas security environments.
Responsibilities• Provide overall management and oversight of Local Guard Force operations.
- Serve as the primary operational point of contact for designated U.S. Government representatives.
- Monitor and analyze the local and regional security environment and recommend appropriate security measures.
- Ensure guard force operations remain responsive to changing criminal, terrorist, and security threats.
- Manage security personnel, staffing, performance, and operational requirements.
- Ensure compliance with contract requirements, established procedures, and quality-control standards.
- Conduct risk management planning, identify potential problems, and develop effective solutions.
- Manage communication and coordination among security personnel, company leadership, and government representatives.
- Plan, define, sequence, and manage project activities and resources.
- Develop, lead, and manage project teams.
- Maintain knowledge of physical security, access-control procedures, guard-force operations, and emergency response requirements.
- Meet routinely with government representatives and Local Guard Force leadership.
- Visit each applicable U.S. Mission within the area of responsibility at least once per quarter.
- Maintain availability and responsiveness for contract-related matters, including after-hours requirements as necessary.
- Salary 90,000 XCG
This is a full-time, dedicated position supporting the contract. The Project Manager must reside in the same city as the U.S. Embassy and be available to respond to contract performance matters 24 hours a day, seven days a week, as required.
The Project Manager must also be able to report in person within one hour of a request from designated U.S. Government representatives.
Minimum Qualifications• Secondary education, polytechnic school, National Diploma, Associate degree, or higher.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in police, military, security, or Local Guard Force management.
- At least 5 years of supervisory or command-level experience.
- At least 5 years of professional experience within the host country or region.
- Experience managing security personnel or Local Guard Force operations.
- Strong knowledge of overseas security environments, including current criminal and terrorist threats affecting U.S. personnel and facilities.
- Expertise in physical security and access control.
- Experience with risk management, problem identification, and problem-solving.
- Knowledge of guard-force operational methods, response procedures, basic communications, and radio procedures.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively across multiple levels of management.
- Ability to remain professional and make sound decisions in high-stress situations.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other standard office-management applications.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English and the local language at the required professional proficiency level (S4/R4).
- Must be a citizen of the host country or a third-country national with a valid work visa authorizing employment in the host nation.
- Must possess a current, valid host-country driver's license.
- Must have a demonstrated record of reliability and good conduct.
