The Role at a Glance:

The Corporate Senior Financial Analyst serves as a strategic finance partner to executive leadership, providing insightful financial analysis, business modeling, and decision support to drive enterprise performance and long-term value creation. This role requires strong business acumen, advanced financial modeling capabilities, and the ability to evaluate complex corporate structures, capital allocation decisions, mergers and acquisitions, financing transactions, and strategic initiatives. The successful candidate combines analytical rigor with commercial judgment and can translate complex financial concepts into actionable business recommendations. This individual will be a key cross-functional partner with Accounting, Operations, and other areas of the business.

How You’ll Create Greater Impact:

Strategic Financial Planning & Analysis

  • Partner with the Director of FP&A on enterprise-wide budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes.
  • Develop and maintain sophisticated three statement financial models supporting strategic planning, capital allocation, and growth initiatives.
  • Perform scenario, sensitivity, and driver-based analyses to assess business performance under varying market and operating conditions.
  • Analyze actual results against forecasts and identify key business drivers, risks, and opportunities.

Corporate Finance & Strategic Transactions

  • Evaluate mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, and other strategic transactions.
  • Build and maintain valuation models, including discounted cash flow, accretion/dilution, leverage, and return analyses.
  • Assess financing alternatives and capital structure implications.
  • Support due diligence efforts and integration planning for corporate transactions.
  • Analyze complex legal entity structures and their impact on financial reporting, liquidity, taxes, and enterprise value.

Executive Decision Support

  • Prepare executive-level presentations, board materials, and strategic recommendations.
  • Partner with senior leaders to evaluate new business opportunities, investments, and operational initiatives.
  • Provide financial insights that influence business strategy and resource allocation decisions.
  • Challenge assumptions and provide objective analysis to support informed decision-making.

Financial Modeling & Business Analysis

  • Design and maintain complex, decision-grade financial models.
  • Evaluate profitability, pricing, investment returns, and business performance trends.
  • Conduct market, competitive, and industry analysis to support strategic planning.
  • Develop business cases and ROI analyses for major investments and transformation initiatives.
  • Translate complex data into concise, actionable business insights.
  • Assist during the month-end close process to ensure cost allocations and accruals are properly verified and recorded.

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field required.
  • MBA, CPA, CFA, or other relevant advanced credential preferred.
  • 5–8+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, investment banking, transaction advisory, corporate development, or strategic finance.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting senior executives and cross-functional business leaders.
  • Experience evaluating complex corporate transactions, capital investments, and strategic initiatives preferred.
  • Advanced financial modeling and forecasting skills.
  • Strong understanding of corporate finance, valuation methodologies, and financial statement analysis.
  • Expertise in Excel and financial planning systems.
  • Ability to synthesize large data sets into meaningful business insights.

Preferred

  • Experience in consumer packaged goods (CPG), manufacturing, or other operationally complex environments preferred.
  • Experience with ERP systems such as Business Central and business intelligence tools such as PowerBI preferred.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

  • This role has the potential to operate in a hybrid capacity. However, regular in-office presence will be expected when Finance and Accounting leadership are working from the office to support collaboration, partnership, and alignment with the broader team.
