We are looking for an experienced QA Automation professional with strong expertise in Flutter, Dart, automated testing frameworks, and CI/CD integration, capable of designing, building, and scaling reliable testing solutions across mobile and web applications.

The ideal candidate combines solid software engineering practices with hands-on automation experience, technical ownership, and the ability to improve existing testing frameworks while ensuring high-quality software releases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, maintain, and scale automated testing frameworks for Flutter applications across iOS, Android, and Web.
  • Build automated testing solutions using Dart, flutter_test, integration_test, Patrol, Appium, or similar technologies.
  • Lead the technical transition of existing QA automation activities, documentation, and testing assets.
  • Audit and refactor legacy automation scripts, eliminating flaky, redundant, or unreliable tests.
  • Develop maintainable automated end-to-end, smoke, and regression testing suites.
  • Integrate automated test execution into CI/CD pipelines, including GitHub Actions, Cloud Build, or similar platforms.
  • Implement continuous testing processes to identify defects early in the development lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with developers to improve testability, validate user stories, and establish effective shift-left testing practices.
  • Configure and manage testing environments, emulators, simulators, and cloud device testing platforms.
  • Execute automated tests across multiple devices, operating systems, and browser environments.
  • Develop and maintain automated API tests to validate backend integrations and end-to-end workflows.
  • Monitor testing metrics, including execution times, test coverage, pass rates, and test flakiness.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to automation standards, clean code practices, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with international engineering teams and stakeholders to ensure testing quality and release readiness.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of professional experience in Software Quality Engineering or Quality Assurance.
  • At least 3 years of hands-on experience in automated UI and API testing for mobile and web applications.
  • Strong experience developing test automation frameworks for Flutter applications.
  • Hands-on programming experience with Dart.
  • Experience with Flutter testing libraries such as flutter_test, integration_test, Flutter Driver, or similar frameworks.
  • Strong knowledge of automated end-to-end, functional, smoke, and regression testing.
  • Experience implementing and maintaining automated tests across iOS, Android, and Web.
  • Experience configuring automated testing within CI/CD pipelines.
  • Familiarity with GitHub Actions, Google Cloud Build, or equivalent CI/CD tools.
  • Experience working with cloud-based device testing environments such as Firebase Test Lab or similar platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of REST and GraphQL API testing and automation.
  • Experience creating mock services and validating backend integrations.
  • Proficiency with Git, code reviews, and collaborative software development workflows.
  • Knowledge of object-oriented programming and test automation design patterns, including Page Object Model (POM) and BDD.
  • Strong understanding of clean code principles and maintainable automation architecture.
  • Experience improving existing automation frameworks, refactoring legacy test suites, or taking ownership of established QA environments.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent technical communication and collaboration skills.
  • Availability to work 100% onsite in Guadalajara, Mexico, five days per week.

Nice to have:

  • Experience with Patrol, Appium, or other cross-platform mobile automation tools.
  • Familiarity with Playwright or Selenium for cross-browser testing of Flutter Web applications.
  • Experience with BrowserStack, Sauce Labs, or other cloud device testing platforms.
  • Knowledge of mobile application performance testing and optimization.
  • Experience profiling memory leaks, frame rates, and application performance in Flutter.
  • Experience building scalable continuous testing strategies for complex software products.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and shift-left quality engineering practices.
