CTG is seeking to fill a Construction Project Manager position for our client.

Location: Elk Grove Village, IL

Duration: Long-Term Contract with Potential for Hire

Position Overview

The Construction Project Manager will oversee the renovation and buildout of a facility being converted into a manufacturing site. This role will manage contractors, permitting, inspections, facility infrastructure, project schedules, budgets, and safety requirements from planning through completion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage construction and facility renovation projects from planning through completion.
  • Coordinate contractors, subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, utilities, and local authorities.
  • Manage permitting, inspections, project documentation, schedules, budgets, and change orders.
  • Oversee electrical, mechanical, compressor, office, bathroom, and other facility infrastructure projects.
  • Monitor construction progress and ensure project milestones are met.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, fire codes, and site safety requirements.
  • Provide project status updates to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Identify and resolve construction issues, schedule conflicts, and project risks.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of construction, facilities, or industrial project management experience.
  • Experience with manufacturing, industrial, warehouse, commercial, or facility renovation projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction project management, permitting, inspections, scheduling, and contractor management.
  • Working knowledge of OSHA and fire/life safety regulations.
  • Strong organizational, communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience coordinating electrical and mechanical infrastructure projects preferred.
  • Manufacturing facility startup, expansion, or buildout experience preferred.
  • PMP, CCM, Construction Management degree, or related credentials preferred.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $75.00 to $85.00/hour. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
