POSITION PURPOSE:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Finance Analyst to join our Southern Division team. The Finance Analyst will play a critical role in analyzing, interpreting, and reporting financial data to support strategic decision-making. This position offers a hybrid work schedule, allowing for a balance between remote and in-office work.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
• Analyze, interpret, and report financial data to support business decisions.
• Utilize Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Automate basic tasks using VBA, SQL, and/or other programming languages.
• Create data visualizations using Power BI to present insights to end users.
• Apply analytical frameworks to solve problems and streamline processes.
• Proactively identify areas for business improvement and implement solutions.
• Communicate effectively with all levels of management, including executives and staff.
• Handle confidential information with maturity and discretion.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve desired results.
Skills and Experiences:
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Data Analytics, or a related field. CPA or MBA is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency in VBA, SQL, and/or other programming languages.
• Experience with Power BI and data visualization.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in both structured and unstructured environments.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to engage professionally with individuals at all levels of the organization.
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT:
• Work may be performed in a temperature-controlled environment.
• Must sit, stand or walk for extended periods of time.
• May spend long periods of time at desk or computer terminal.
• May use calculators, keyboards, telephone, and other office equipment in the course of normal workday.
• Stooping, bending, twisting, and reaching may be required in completion of job duties.
• Workday is fast paced, some evening and weekend work may be required.
