We’re hiring: Launch Engineering Manager

Are you experienced in leading automotive launches and turning new product programs into successful series production? Join iSi Automotive Mexico (iAM) and lead the teams and processes that bring new programs from development through industrialization and start of production.

What you’ll do

  • Lead the Launch Engineering department and coordinate cross-functional teams throughout the product development and industrialization cycle.
  • Ensure project milestones, deliverables, and objectives are met in line with technical, quality, cost, and timing requirements.
  • Plan and coordinate the industrialization of new products and systems, working closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Logistics, Purchasing, and Production.
  • Drive the transition from pre-series to series production within agreed timelines.
  • Coordinate the resources, components, tooling, and manufacturing equipment required for each launch.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders on project and engineering-change topics.
  • Apply APQP and other relevant automotive project-management methodologies.
  • Support IATF, VDA, TLD, and related audits, including follow-up on requirements and action plans.
  • Manage department activities, assign responsibilities, and monitor performance against applicable iAM operational indicators.

What you bring

  • A degree in Industrial, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field—or equivalent qualifications.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar position.
  • Strong project-management, communication, and stakeholder-coordination skills.
  • The ability to lead teams, organize resources, make decisions, and manage priorities.
  • Experience with automotive launch processes, APQP, and quality-system requirements.
