Paradigm has opportunities for Healthcare Project Managers to employ their knowledge, skills and techniques to deliver and implement significant initiatives and enable our customers to maximize their investments in their business processes and information technology.
The role will be based onsite for our customers who are in Regina/Winnipeg.
What our clients are looking for in a Healthcare Project Manager:
- 5+ years experience managing projects and implementing clinical change in a healthcare setting such as a hospital in an acute care, primary care or long-term care environment.
- Possess a valid PMP certification (PMI) and/or PRINCE2 certification.
- 3 years’ experience implementing the Panorama Health Information system on a provincial scale.
- 3 years’ experience planning and implementing a Public Health Surveillance and Monitoring system on a provincial scale.
- 3-5 years’ experience managing EHR projects.
- 1 – 3 years’ experience working on Indigenous/First Nations based projects will be an asset.
- Certificate, Diploma or Degree from an educational facility with a major in Computer Science, Business, Commerce or Project Management is also a strong asset.
Duties may include:
- Participate in the transformation of the provincial healthcare system to improve patient care and support strategic healthcare system alignment
- Provide expertise through your insight and oversight of analysis activities and contributing to overall organizational redesign planning.
- Coordinate and complete IT gap analyses and prepare related policies, guidelines, and recommendations.
- Develop project charters and business/project plans to ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Design and deliver solutions aligned with enterprise standards.
- Create and present comprehensive project deliverables for various internal support teams and stakeholders.
- Manage multiple concurrent projects, resources, and governance structures.
- Engage stakeholders and ensure clear, consistent communication across all project phases.
- Report on project status including timelines, budget, risks, and milestones to executive stakeholders.
- Establish and monitor project schedules, estimate resources, and manage work plans.
- Provide effective communication for related business areas.
- Other responsibilities as required or requested by leadership.
