Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior IT Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of large-scale, high-priority IT projects, including SaaS implementations, system enhancements, business process re-engineering, and application modernization initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead projects through the full lifecycle, including planning, requirements, design, development, testing, implementation, and closure.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, schedules, estimates, budgets, communication plans, and deliverables matrices.
  • Manage project scope, schedule, budget, resources, dependencies, risks, issues, and change requests.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, technical groups, business stakeholders, vendors, and leadership to ensure successful delivery.
  • Track project progress, milestones, metrics, and deliverables, providing regular status reports and executive-level updates.
  • Maintain RAID logs and proactively identify, mitigate, and resolve project risks and issues.
  • Facilitate requirements gathering, stakeholder meetings, testing, quality reviews, training, and implementation activities.
  • Ensure projects comply with established PMO methodologies, governance standards, quality processes, and documentation requirements.
  • Build strong relationships with business and technical stakeholders and serve as the primary point of contact for project-related matters.
  • Mentor project team members and contribute to continuous improvement of project management practices.

Required Qualifications:

  • 7–9 years of relevant IT project management experience.
  • PMP certification with at least 5 years of active experience.
  • Strong experience managing complex, enterprise-level technology projects.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams, competing priorities, and long project delivery cycles.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience implementing SaaS solutions.
  • Experience in public health, particularly drug and alcohol program environments.
  • Experience working with enterprise applications, data, infrastructure, security, and service management teams.
