Bee Tee Alarms are a family-run security company in the UK that installs and maintains high-quality burglar alarms, CCTV, and access control systems for homes and businesses. They have offices in both Birmingham and Northampton. Due to recent growth, they are now looking to recruit a brand new apprentice engineer at their Northampton branch!

Job Description

As an apprentice, you'll work alongside experienced engineers to install, maintain and fault-find on the following systems:

  • Access Control Systems
  • Video Surveillance
  • Intruder Alarms

Entry Requirements

  • A drivers license would be advantageous, but not essential for a strong, local candidate
  • Able to pass an enhanced DBS background check as part of the recruitment process
  • Comfortable working at height, due to the nature of the role
  • Grade 4 at Maths and English GCSE (or equivalent) or above
  • Keen to learn more about the wider security engineering industry
  • Interested in developing a career within the sector
  • Excellent teamworking and customer service skills

Training to be Provided

This is where you'll learn the skills that employers actually want.

Your apprenticeship training is delivered by Skills for Security, specialists in fire and security training.

You’ll train through block release at our Walsall centre, for one week every eight weeks (Tuesday–Friday).

You’ll work towards a Level 3 Fire, Emergency & Security Systems Technician apprenticeship, gaining real skills and a nationally recognised qualification.

  • Learn from industry experts
  • Complete a wide range of tasks and projects
  • Build evidence from your job to support your learning
  • Sit annual assessments at the centre
