Plan, coordinate and deliver a broad range of HR projects and initiatives, ensuring activities are completed within agreed timelines, scope and resources. Working closely with HR teams and business stakeholders, the role provides project governance, reporting, documentation and implementation support across the HR project portfolio. A key focus area for this role will be supporting the delivery of the HR Operating Model programme and related change initiatives.

Accountabilities

  • Coordinate and track the delivery of projects across the HR roadmap, ensuring progress against agreed plans, milestones and deliverables.
  • Support the implementation of HR initiatives and change programmes, including the ongoing HR Operating Model project.
  • Apply project management standards, governance processes and reporting requirements across HR projects.
  • Work with HR teams and cross-functional stakeholders to coordinate activities, manage dependencies and support the successful delivery of project outcomes.
  • Prepare project updates and reports, highlighting progress, risks, issues and key decisions for governance forums and leadership teams.
  • Ensure project milestones are achieved and that risks, issues and delays are proactively escalated with appropriate mitigation plans.
  • Partner with HR leadership and HR Technology teams to support the prioritisation and delivery of agreed HR initiatives and enhancements.

Qualifications

  • Degree level education in HR, Business, Systems or a related discipline
  • Minimum 5 years+ experience in project/programme management within HR and practical experience of project management frameworks, e.g. PMP/PRINCE2 (certification preferred)
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, deal with ambiguous problems / strong problem solving skills
  • Proven track record of taking ownership and collaborating successfully with internal and external partners to deliver results
  • LEAN six sigma experience an advantage
