Full description

A Project Manager at Velociti Services will act as a facility service liaison for high-profile clients, prioritizing client satisfaction, promoting new services, setting targets, and ensuring healthy relationships exist between Velociti Services and its customers. They also follow up on complaints and questions from clients and present their performance to management and will oversee and manage client relationships and partnerships on a national basis for Velociti Services.

Optimal candidates should have excellent interpersonal skills, confidence, and the ability to lead a team of salespeople in managing accounts across the country. A top-notch national account manager will bring skills as a negotiator, problem solver, and thought leader to the table.

Duties / Responsibilities:

  • Building a trusting and professional relationship with clients
  • Lead and conduct meetings with clients and account managers
  • Ensuring that all accounts are looked after and maintained
  • Supervising and managing regional salespeople in your area
  • Following up on complaints and queries on behalf of clients
  • Promoting new services and products to clients in your area
  • Reporting to senior management on the status of your accounts
  • Taking a leading role in presentations and proposals for national accounts
  • Monitoring and identifying market trends, competitors, and new sales leads
  • Trains and manages employees and vendors to ensure all client processes, procedures, guidelines, regulations, and expectations are adhered to
  • Develops and maintains strategic customer relationships
  • Serves as liaison between clients and Velociti Services departments / divisions
  • Conducts service review meetings with clients concerning Velociti Services performance, vendor performance and potential process improvements
  • Surveys buildings for staffing purposes and cost evaluations
  • Maintains labor and account budgets
  • Examines work completion in accordance with contract deliverables
  • Monitors quality control throughout assigned facilities
  • Sustains focus on safety through onsite observations and / or inspections
  • Other duties as assigned or requested

Required Skills / Abilities:

  • Experience at interfacing at all levels throughout an organization
  • PC literate – understanding of how to use the technology as a tool
  • Ability to communicate with all levels within a client’s management structure.
  • Good team player and manager
  • Able to command credibility and be able to influence
  • Experience in janitorial industry preferred.
  • Experience managing multiple locations.
  • 5 years customer service experience.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license.
  • High School or GED.
  • Knowledge of custodial/commercial cleaning
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
