As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for delivering large-scale warehouse automation projects that help our customers improve efficiency, productivity, and operational performance. Leading multidisciplinary teams across engineering, software, controls, installation, and commissioning, you will oversee project delivery from planning through to successful completion.
You'll play a critical role in building strong customer relationships, managing commercial and operational performance, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. This is an exciting opportunity to lead high-profile automation programs while further developing your leadership and project delivery expertise within Toyota Automated Logistics.
Your Impact:
- Lead the delivery of large and complex warehouse automation projects from contract award through to customer handover.
- Take ownership of project safety, scope, schedule, budget, quality, risk management, and overall financial performance.
- Develop and execute integrated project plans, coordinating multidisciplinary teams and resources to achieve project objectives.
- Build strong customer relationships and act as the primary point of contact throughout project delivery.
- Lead commercial activities including change management, variations, claims, and contractual matters.
- Provide clear project governance, reporting, and stakeholder communication while proactively managing risks and opportunities.
- Mentor project team members and drive continuous improvement, operational excellence, and best-practice project delivery.
What makes you a great fit:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management or related discipline.
- 10+ years of project management experience delivering large-scale industrial, automation, material handling, infrastructure or related engineering projects.
- Demonstrated experience managing projects with significant commercial and contractual complexity.
- Strong understanding of project controls, scheduling, budgeting, risk management and change management.
- Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary project teams within a matrix organization.
- Strong customer-facing and stakeholder management skills, including engagement with senior customer leadership.
- Sound commercial acumen with experience managing project financial performance and contractual obligations.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills.
- Experience working in international and multicultural environments.
- Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent) desirable.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required.
