About the Role:

As a Project Manager in the construction industry, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful planning, execution, and completion of construction projects from inception to closeout. Your role will involve coordinating multidisciplinary teams, managing project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure timely delivery within scope and quality standards. You will serve as the primary point of contact between clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders, facilitating clear communication and resolving any issues that arise during the project lifecycle. By leveraging project management methodologies and software tools, you will monitor progress, mitigate risks, and implement corrective actions to keep projects on track. Ultimately, your leadership will drive project success, client satisfaction, and contribute to the company’s reputation for excellence in construction project delivery.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience managing construction projects with demonstrated success in delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Proficiency in project management software, particularly Microsoft Project.
  • Strong knowledge of the construction project lifecycle, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout phases.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.
  • Experience with additional project management tools such as Primavera P6 or Procore.
  • Familiarity with construction safety standards and regulatory compliance.
  • Advanced knowledge of budgeting and cost control in construction projects.
  • Experience working on large-scale commercial or infrastructure construction projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive project plans outlining scope, timelines, resources, and budgets.
  • Coordinate and lead project teams, including subcontractors, engineers, and architects, to ensure alignment and effective collaboration.
  • Monitor project progress using project management software such as Microsoft Project, updating schedules and documentation regularly.
  • Manage project documentation, including contracts, permits, change orders, and progress reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory and company standards.

  • Facilitate regular project meetings to review status, address challenges, and adjust plans as necessary.
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Oversee project administration tasks, including procurement coordination, invoicing, and resource allocation.
