What You’ll Do
- Develop, maintain, and optimize native Android applications using Java and the Android SDK.
- Integrate with RESTful APIs, external SDKs, and backend systems.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers and backend engineers to create seamless user experiences.
- Ensure code quality through testing, documentation, and code reviews.
- Debug and resolve performance issues, ensuring smooth, stable app operation.
- Stay up to date with Android best practices and evolving technologies.
Requirements
Minimum 1 year(s) of professional Android development experience.
Strong proficiency in Java and the Android SDK.
Solid understanding of Android lifecycle, UI components, and threading models.
Experience integrating REST APIs, JSON, and networking libraries (Retrofit, Volley, OkHttp).
Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows.
Ability to write clean, maintainable, and testable code.
Problem-solving mindset and attention to performance and usability.
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative attitude.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Kotlin or a willingness to learn it.
- Familiarity with Firebase, Push Notifications, and in-app billing.
- Knowledge of modern architecture patterns (MVVM, Clean Architecture).
- Experience publishing apps to Google Play Store.
- Basic understanding of iOS development or cross-platform SDKs.
