About the role

The engineer will be responsible for the administration, configuration, and optimization of Web Application Firewalls to protect critical applications. They will also manage network security infrastructure and collaborate with systems, cloud, and security teams to resolve issues in high-availability environments.

Right now, we are looking for an Application Security & WAF Engineer to integrate our Talent team.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Administração, configuração e otimização de Web Application Firewalls -

WAFs (FortiWeb), garantindo a proteção de aplicações críticas contra ameaças e vulnerabilidades.

  • Gestão e troubleshooting de infraestruturas de

segurança de rede, incluindo FortiGate, Check Point e Palo Alto.

  • Colaboração diária com equipas de Sistemas,

Cloud, Aplicações e Segurança.

  • Resolução de problemas em ambientes críticos e de

elevada disponibilidade.

  • Assumir responsabilidade técnica sobre plataformas de segurança críticas.

You must have:

  • Experiência em administração de infraestruturas de rede e segurança.
  • Conhecimentos avançados em Fortinet FortiWeb

(mandatório).

  • Conhecimentos em Fortinet

FortiGate.

  • Bons conhecimentos de

TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, NAT, VPN, DNS e load balancing.

  • Experiência em troubleshooting complexo de

ambientes críticos e de elevada disponibilidade.

  • Capacidade para trabalhar de forma autónoma e assumir responsabilidade

técnica sobre plataformas críticas.

We value:

  • Experiência relevante em pelo menos duas das seguintes tecnologias: Check

Point. Palo Alto, Cisco, Azure

  • Experiência em ambientes híbridos com forte

interação entre equipas de Infraestrutura, Cloud e Segurança.

  • Exposição a múltiplos fabricantes de soluções de segurança (multivendor).
