Key Responsibilities
- Collect, validate, and analyze reinsurance data received from cedants
- Ensure regulatory data compliance
- Conduct experience studies to support actuarial assumption setting
- Work closely with underwriters, actuaries, claims, and other stakeholders to ensure data accuracy and completeness
- Identify data quality issues and help design processes to enhance data integrity
- Generate standard and ad-hoc reports and visualizations for internal and external use
- Support automation and process improvement initiatives within the team
- Where applicable, assume directorship responsibilities in accordance with China’s regulatory and governance requirements, including fulfilling legal obligations as a company director, ensuring statutory compliance, and maintaining proper corporate governance standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Insurance, Business, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline
- 1–5 years of relevant work experience, preferably in insurance, reinsurance, or data analytics
- Proficiency in Excel; experience with statistics tools (SQL, Python, or R)
- Experience in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills in Mandarin and basic English
