The role & your impact

As Project Manager, you will lead multidisciplinary capital projects throughout the full project lifecycle, from initiation and planning to design, execution, commissioning, and handover.

This is an individual-contributor role with significant responsibility for project scope, schedule, cost, quality, risk, and stakeholder alignment. You will work across technical, operational, regulatory, and commercial areas to deliver facilities that meet business needs and applicable standards.

 

Your key responsibilities in this role

• Lead the full project lifecycle, including initiation, planning, design, execution, commissioning, and handover.
• Translate user requirement specifications into clear project plans, schedules, budgets, deliverables, and success criteria.
• Manage project scope, schedule, cost, quality, and risk to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to specification.
• Coordinate internal stakeholders across Production, Quality, EHS, Procurement, Finance, and user functions, as well as external design institutes, contractors, suppliers, and consultants.
• Monitor progress, identify risks and issues, and drive effective mitigation or recovery plans.
• Lead project meetings, follow up on actions and decisions, prepare status reports, and escalate significant deviations with practical recommendations.

 

What you’ll need to be successful in this role

• A bachelor’s degree or higher in chemical, mechanical, electrical, civil, intelligent manufacturing, pharmaceutical engineering, project management, or a related field.
• At least three years of industrial project management experience, preferably gained on the owner’s side in food, pharmaceutical, biotech, cleanroom, or another regulated-facility environment.
• Strong knowledge of project management across scope, schedule, cost, quality, risk, procurement, and stakeholder management.
• Familiarity with GMP-related facility requirements and industrial construction and installation practices.
• English proficiency sufficient for day-to-day project management, technical and commercial communication, and reporting.
• Strong stakeholder-management, coordination, communication, problem-solving, and risk-control capabilities.
• The ability to align multiple parties, resolve conflicts, exercise sound judgment, and communicate clearly.

 

Additional skills & interests we value

• Experience with fermentation, recovery, spray drying, or packaging processes.
• Experience delivering large, multidisciplinary capital projects.
• An interest in technical compliance, operational excellence, and continuously improving project delivery.
