Summary: The Financial Analysis Senior Analyst provides professional input to complex data sets and compliance assignments/projects. Utilizing independent judgment and discretion, the Financial Analysis Senior Analyst communicates externally to pharmacies and clients, providing professional responses to inquiries and appeals. As a Financial Analysis Senior Analyst, you will be responsible for conducting appeal reviews, department of insurance complaints, and external communications. In addition, you will assist with ad hoc automation testing. May conduct audits to ensure data controls are maintained. Works autonomously, only requiring minimal technical support from others. Exercises judgment in the evaluation, selection, and adaptation of both standard and complex techniques and procedures. Utilizes in-depth professional knowledge and acumen to communicate internally and externally, analyzes datasets, and meet strict deadlines. This role supports the Strategic Optimization Program.
Responsibilities:
- Review, analyze, and response to pharmacy pricing appeals
- Review and respond to department of insurance complaints
- Monitor external facing email, providing guidance and answering questions
- Communicate externally to pharmacies and state Departments of Insurance
- Assists with Ad-Hoc data outputs relating to claims, pharmacy appeals and DOI complaints
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field preferred
- 1 + years in a finance, accounting or highly analytical position
- Experience in healthcare / insurance industry preferred
- Strong communication skills
- Experience in a highly regulated business environment
- Ability to communicate results of analytics to a multitude of individuals/groups
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- A self-motivated team player who thrives on challenges, is comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and is ready for development within our Company
- Innovative and strong desire to learn
If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 63,800 - 106,300 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.
This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
