Senior Graphic Designer
Location Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
Salary- RM84,000 – RM102,000
Employment Type - One year fixed-term contract
We are seeking an experienced Senior Graphic Designer to join Cognition Education for a major curriculum development project, creating Senior Secondary educational resources for the Solomon Islands. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to high-quality learning materials that will have a lasting impact on teachers and learners, while also supporting broader initiatives across our global organization.
About the Role
In this role, you will guide and supervise a pool of experienced graphic designers based in Malaysia. Working closely with our Graphic Design Lead in New Zealand and our global editing team, you will ensure materials are designed accurately using pre-developed templates and delivered on time. You will carry out hands-on design work, brief the local team, and quality-assure their output before final review.
Key Responsibilities & Scope
- Lead and quality-assure the work of a
locally based team of graphic designers.
- Design and refine curriculum-aligned
educational resources.
- Support internal and external graphic
design work across other Cognition Learning Group (CLG) projects beyond the core scope.
- Liaise effectively across multiple time
zones to ensure seamless collaboration with international teams.
Requirements
Skills Experience
As an ideal candidate you will bring:
- Significant graphic design experience
paired with proven team lead/management capabilities.
- Strong experience designing educational or
curriculum-based content, specifically using Adobe InDesign.
- A track record of fast-paced, accurate
design across large-scale projects.
- Excellent written English and exceptional
attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently, manage
tight deadlines, and guide others to do the same.
