About this Position
The Business Intelligence Consultant role contributes to driving data-informed decision-making by developing advanced reporting and analytics, dashboards, interactive data applications, and AI-powered analytics tools. This mid-level role focuses on enabling self-service analytics, enhancing reporting capabilities, standardizing processes, and delivering actionable insights that align with business needs.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
Responsibilities:
- Design and automate dashboards and recurring reports to monitor indicators and reduce manual effort.
- Perform in-depth analyses of complex datasets to address specific business questions and identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
- Collaborate with partners to gather reporting requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and provide tailored solutions.
- Ensure data quality and integrity by validating and troubleshooting data issues to ensure delivery of accurate analytics and reports.
- Communicate insights through concise presentations, summaries, and visualizations tailored to multiple audiences.
- Extend self-service analytics through interactive data applications and AI-powered agents, such as Streamlit, Snowflake CoWork, and AI Agents. Support the transition of users from legacy reporting to modern, self-service tools and natural language querying of our data.
- Applying automated machine learning tools to lead insights and create predictive models
- Mentor entry-level team members, providing guidance on reporting tools, self-service analytics, and best practices.
Required Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field or equivalent education, training, or experience.
- At least 2 years of experience in reporting, business intelligence, or data analytics roles or equivalent education, training, or experience.
- Experience with creating reports, dashboards, and ad hoc analysis to support business decision-making.
- Proficiency in SQL for querying, cleaning, and combining large datasets.
- Working knowledge of Python.
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and the ability to design scalable, visual reporting solutions.
- Analytical skills and the ability to work on complex, multi-variable datasets.
- Experience presenting findings to all audiences.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with cloud data platforms (e.g., Snowflake).

The base pay range is based on the market evaluation of the job and may include pay for multiple levels. Individual base pay within the range is determined by a variety of factors, including experience, performance, education, and demonstration of skills and competencies required for each role. Your recruiter can discuss the full value of our total compensation package with you, including our generous bonus plans and flex-hybrid work model.
Base Pay Range: $93,168.50 - $115,090.50 Per Year
