What You’ll Build

The SAP Internship Experience Program is SAP’s global, strategic, paid internship program that provides university students with opportunities to find purpose in their careers. This is more than an internship; it’s the foundation for a career built on connection, creativity, and impact.

Position title: SAP iXp Intern (f/m/d)– Office of the Head of Product & Engineering of Consumer Industries Location: Walldorf, Germany Internship duration: 6 months (preferred)

Think ahead: In our team we focus on strategic impact. We manage ad-hoc tasks and projects end-to-end while collaborating across functions (e.g. development, product management, UX, Go-to-market, sales, IBU) at SAP. By supporting the Office of the Head of Product & Engineering (P&E) of Consumer Industries you will have the opportunity to grow your career through collaborating with a talented team, contributing to strengthening the operational & strategic backbone of a global product organization building software for the world’s largest retailer and consumer brands and gaining a deep understanding of how large, global P&E organizations operate.

• Work closely with the Head of P&E for Consumer Industries, his office and his leadership team across functions to drive key internal topics

• Coordinate, support and execute various strategic initiatives under the Head of P&E’s guidance with a focus on product and cross topics, hand-in-hand with key leaders and employees across SAP

• Support preparing internal meetings of the Head of P&E including agenda setting, meeting content and action item tracking; ensuring that expected results are documented and followed up

• Contribute to overarching P&E operating rhythm including portfolio planning, business & products reviews and reporting exercises

• Conduct (market) analysis on product and industry topcis to support crucial management decisions

What You’ll Bring

We’re looking for someone who takes the initiative, perseveres, and stays curious. You like to work on meaningful innovative projects and are energized by lifelong learning. Student (f/m/d) at a university or a university of applied sciences.

• Currently pursuing or already completed a bachelor's or master's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Economics, Management or a related field

• First (professional) experience in student or management consulting, corporate/product strategy or product-related projects

• Ability to break down complex issues, reduce them to the essential factors and communicate them effectively, attention to detail while also understanding the big picture

• High interest in software, product management, technology, strategy and cross-functional collaboration

• Excellent English communication skills, German is a plus

• At least 4 months availability

• Working from Walldorf office is required. If you are applying from outside the area, please mention your relocation plans or preferences in your CV (Relocation costs are not reimbursed by the manager/employer)
