OUR OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking an L2 DevOps Engineer to support the stability, availability, and performance of enterprise banking platforms. This role focuses on operational support, environment management, automation, and incident resolution across non‑production and production environments.

The L2 DevOps Engineer will work closely with Application Support (L1/L3), Development, QA, Security, and Infrastructure teams to ensure reliable system operations in highly regulated banking environments.

YOU WILL

» Provide Level 2 DevOps operational support for banking applications across development, testing, UAT, and production environments.

» Monitor system health, infrastructure, and application performance, proactively identifying and resolving issues before business impact.

» Troubleshoot and resolve environment, deployment, pipeline, and infrastructure issues beyond L1 capability.

» Support and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automation scripts, and platform configurations.

» Manage and support containerized and cloud-based environments (Docker, Kubernetes, Azure/AWS).

» Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring incidents and contribute to permanent fixes.

» Collaborate with development and QA teams to support application deployments, hotfixes, and configuration changes.

» Ensure systems comply with security, compliance, and regulatory requirements applicable to KSA banking clients.

» Maintain operational documentation, runbooks, and standard operating procedures.

» Participate in on‑call or incident response activities when required.

Requirements

» TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THE ROLE YOU NEED

» Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

» 5-10 years of experience in a DevOps, Platform, or Infrastructure Support role.

» Strong experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab CI).

» Strong experience with OpenShift.

» Hands‑on experience with Linux/Unix systems and scripting (Bash, PowerShell).

» Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).

» Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure and/or AWS).

» Solid understanding of ITIL-based operations, incident, and problem management.

» Experience supporting production systems with high availability and strict SLAs.

» Strong troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills
