Job Description

• Network Operations Support: Assist in monitoring and maintaining daily operations of the local office enterprise LAN/WAN network infrastructure across multi-floor environments.

• Routing & Switching: Assist in the basic configuration, cabling, and troubleshooting of Cisco switches and access points (including Meraki WiFi). Support basic VLAN setups, trunking, and simple Layer 2/3 configurations.

• Firewall & Cybersecurity Maintenance: Upholds cybersecuerity best practice. Support day-to-day administration of Firewalls (FortiGate / Palo Alto), including routine updates to security policies, standard NAT rules, and VPN user account provisioning.

• Incident Resolution & End-User Support: Provide Tier-1 and Tier-2 technical support for network and cybersecurity related issues. Troubleshoot network connectivity bottlenecks and assist end-users with daily connectivity queries.

• Documentation & Asset Management: Keep physical network cabling diagrams, logical network topologies, and IT asset inventories accurate and up to date.

• Vendor & ISP Coordination: Assist in liaising with local ISPs and network service providers for routine maintenance, circuit installation, or reporting outage incidents.

Qualifications

• Education: Degree in Information Technology or a related discipline. Higher Diploma / Associated Degree, with CCNA and good network experience can also apply.

Additional Information

Requirements:

• Experience: 2 - 3 years of hands-on experience in IT network support, with technical helpdesk/support experience within System Integrators (SI) or large companies.

• Core Technical Skills:

• Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, VLAN, Subnetting, Routing) and fundamental Cisco iOS CLI commands.

• Hands-on exposure to or basic knowledge of Fortinet FortiGate firewall administration and policy management.

• Basic familiarity with wireless networking (e.g., Cisco Meraki) is an advantage.

• Basic exposure to cloud environments (e.g., AWS) is a plus.

• Cybersecurity

• Certifications: Cisco CCNA (mandatory), Fortinet NSE 4 certification is a strong advantage.

• Language Skills: Good command of spoken Cantonese and basic operational English to communicate with local office teams and regional technical contacts.
• Attributes: Willingness to learn, good problem-solving mindset, and a proactive team player.
