About the Role

Join the mobile product team at a consumer marketplace technology company, building and scaling the native iOS experience. You will work closely with product, design, and backend teammates, taking ownership from early ideas through launch and helping shape the team's engineering practices.

What You'll Do

  • Build and ship polished iOS features using Swift, owning work from discovery through release.
  • Help define and evolve the app's architecture as the mobile team grows.
  • Create fast, intuitive native interfaces and interactions for users.
  • Debug production issues and improve reliability and performance.
  • Establish and contribute to engineering standards for mobile development.

What We're Looking For

  • One to five years of professional iOS development experience, with strong hands-on Swift skills.
  • Experience building or scaling a consumer product, ideally a mobile app, and delivering features in a startup or product-focused environment.
  • Solid knowledge of iOS fundamentals, the iOS SDK, Xcode, Objective-C, software architecture, and REST APIs.
  • Familiarity with MVVM or similar patterns and asynchronous data handling.
  • Strong ownership, product judgment, and attention to UI and interaction details, with the ability to make progress through ambiguity.
  • Experience exploring AI models and agentic workflows is valued.

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary is $130,000 to $230,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Location

On-site in New York, United States, five days per week.
