As a Senior Associate - Finance Data Analyst / Architect – Finance Consulting, you will play a pivotal role in analyzing client needs and developing financial solutions to optimize their financial performance. Within our Finance practice, you will specialize in improving the efficiency and effectiveness of financial operations, assessing processes, and implementing solutions to streamline operations and enhance controls.

As a Senior Associate, you will leverage your skills to build meaningful client connections and navigate complex situations. You will be responsible for mentoring others, maintaining professional standards, and developing a deeper understanding of the business context. Your role will involve anticipating the needs of your teams and clients, delivering quality solutions, and embracing ambiguity to foster personal growth.

In this role at PwC Acceleration Center India, you will support finance transformation engagements, focusing on data analytics and reporting modernization. You will contribute to process optimization and ERP/EPM-enabled finance improvements, working within Agile project delivery environments. Your collaboration skills across geographies and multi-disciplinary teams will be essential in shaping solutions for Finance Consulting opportunities and supporting the development of thought leadership materials.

Responsibilities

- Analyzing client financial processes to identify areas for improvement and streamline operations - Developing and implementing financial solutions to enhance decision-making and optimize performance - Supporting finance transformation engagements with a focus on data analytics and reporting modernization - Participating in current-state assessments and assisting in defining business and functional requirements for EPM solutions - Assisting with data integration activities, including understanding source systems and data mappings - Contributing to process optimization and ERP/EPM-enabled finance improvements - Collaborating within Agile project delivery environments for implementation initiatives - Building and maintaining effective relationships with client stakeholders to support engagement delivery - Contributing to proposal development and collaborating with cross-functional teams to shape solutions - Sharing knowledge and reusable assets across the network and participating in recruitment initiatives - Utilizing financial modeling and data-driven analysis to support client engagements - Applying proficiency with data extraction and transformation tools to enhance financial reporting and visualization

What You Must Have

- At least a Bachelor's degree - At least 6 years of experience - Oral and written proficiency in English required

What Sets You Apart

- Prior experience in banking or financial services - Exposure to data science concepts and advanced analytics - Hands-on experience with Python and/or SQL; familiarity with Azure - Understanding of enterprise cloud platforms for data transformation - Demonstrating proficiency in financial modeling and data-driven analysis - Utilizing data extraction and transformation tools like Alteryx - Excelling in communication and storytelling skills
