The position is ideal for someone who can accurately estimate work while also driving projects through successful field execution. Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed estimates and proposals for commercial and industrial plumbing and process piping projects.
  • Review plans, specifications, scopes, and project requirements to identify labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
  • Own assigned plumbing projects from preconstruction through closeout, maintaining control of budget, schedule, scope, and quality.
  • Manage project schedules, procurement, material requirements, change orders, RFIs, submittals, and project documentation.
  • Work directly with field superintendents, plumbers, vendors, subcontractors, inspectors, and clients to drive project execution.
  • Monitor job costs and project performance against estimates and proactively address scope, schedule, or cost issues.
  • Visit active job sites to evaluate progress, resolve field issues, and ensure work is progressing according to plans and specifications.
  • Prepare and negotiate change orders while maintaining accurate project financial documentation.
  • Support business development by developing competitive estimates and maintaining strong relationships with commercial and industrial customers.
  • 5+ years of direct experience in commercial or industrial plumbing project management, estimating, or a combined PM/Estimator role.
  • Strong experience with commercial plumbing systems and/or process piping projects.
  • Must have direct plumbing project ownership experience rather than primarily administrative or project coordination experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret plumbing drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and construction documents.
  • Demonstrated estimating experience, including material takeoffs, labor pricing, subcontractor pricing, and proposal development.
  • Experience managing project budgets, schedules, change orders, procurement, and closeout documentation.
  • Strong understanding of construction project costs and field execution within a plumbing contractor environment.
  • Commercial or industrial plumbing experience required; candidates with only residential plumbing experience will not be considered.

Compensation: Competitive salary based on experience.
