The Manager, Product Training – Oncology (HCC & DTC) plays a key role in preparing field-based teams to execute with confidence, consistency, and strong business alignment. This role designs, develops, and delivers product, disease state, competitive landscape, and selling skills training that supports new hire readiness, ongoing development, field pull-through, and successful execution of oncology brand priorities. 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

 

  • Develop, coordinate, and deliver live and virtual new hire training, including home study, resource preparation, disease state education, product knowledge, and competitive landscape content. 
  • Support learners before, during, and after initial training to reinforce readiness, confidence, and application in the field. 
  • Facilitate advanced training programs at least four times per year, including scheduling, coordinating clinical touchpoints, leading workshops, providing feedback on case study presentations, and managing post-program follow-up with participants. 
  • Conduct supplemental training initiatives, including virtual web trainings, teleconferences, and national, regional, and district meeting sessions. 
  • Partner with brand, marketing, sales leadership, and cross-functional stakeholders to develop workshops, content, and key training deliverables for national meetings and other major training events. 
  • Ensure field pull-through is consistently aligned to brand strategy, training priorities, and regional business needs. 
  • Gather and share continuous feedback with the Commercial Training & Development team to inform future curriculum, content, and field support needs. 
  • Mentor early career team members by modeling strong training practices, providing practical guidance, and supporting their professional development. 

 

Required Qualifications: 

 

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a life science, adult learning, education, business, or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. 
  • Five or more years of training experience in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or healthcare industry. 
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver engaging, practical, and creative training content for field-based teams. 
  • Experience designing and delivering virtual training, distance learning, and learning management system-based programs. 
  • Strong proficiency with PowerPoint, PDF tools, editing software, and other platforms used to create and deliver training materials. 
  • Proven ability to collaborate across brand, marketing, sales leadership, compliance, review committee, and training teams. 
  • Strong performance history in a prior commercial, training, marketing, or related role. 
  • Ability to travel less than 10% for Train the Trainer sessions, National Sales Meeting activities, and other home office or field-based training events. 

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in oncology, neurology, or another relevant therapeutic area. 
  • Experience with commercial review committee and compliance processes. 
  • Prior success in a sales, marketing, field training, or field leadership role. 
  • Experience mentoring or training early career team members.

Eisai Salary Transparency Language:

The annual base salary range for the Manager, Product Training – Oncology (HCC & DTC) is from :$124,500-$163,400

Under current guidelines, this position is eligible to participate in : Eisai Inc. Annual Incentive Plan.

Final pay determinations will depend on various factors including but not limited to experience level, education, knowledge, and skills.
