Position Summary
Location: Ramanujan IT Park, Taramani, Chennai
- Oracle Apps DBA with OCI experience.
- Oracle OCI EXADATA DBA experience.
- Oracle E-Business Suite 12.2 support experience is a MUST along with ADOP patching cycle.
- Deep knowledge of Oracle DB/RAC architecture, database creation, tools, utilities, backup/cloning, security, monitoring, etc.
- Must have Experience in Oracle Data Guard for standby and disaster recovery (DR).
- Strong understanding of Oracle E-Business Suite R12 Architecture ( Oracle Applications Environment , Oracle Applications File System, configuration options etc.)
- Experience with Cloning and maintenance activities.
- Ability to analyze and apply EBS patches, complete upgrades and database enhancements.
- Experience with Oracle WebLogic server,Oracle APEX, Enterprise Command Centre(ECC),OEM, Vertex and Oracle SOA suite administration.
- Database security, compliance and SOX requirements.
- Unix scripting experience.
- Solid experience maintaining/enhancing/tuning the Oracle applications.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Highly organized with strong time management and prioritization abilities.
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment with flexible work hours.
Required Experience:
- 8+ years of Oracle Database Administration experience with at least 6 years as an Oracle Applications DBA supporting Oracle EBS 12.2.
- 2–3 years of hands-on experience with OCI Exadata / RAC databases (Mandatory).
- Proven experience in performance tuning across DB, Apps, and Middleware.
