We are seeking a Business Intelligence Manager that is responsible for developing, managing, and continuously improving the reporting, analytics, and business intelligence capabilities of i2G Systems. This role partners closely with Operations, Service, Engineering, Sales, Finance, and Executive Leadership to transform business data into actionable insights that drive performance, accountability, and strategic decision-making.
The Business Intelligence Manager will serve as the company's primary expert in Smartsheet development, administration, reporting, dashboard creation, workflow automation, and systems integration. This individual will work directly with senior leaders to understand business needs, develop key performance indicators (KPIs), build executive-level reporting tools, and provide data-driven recommendations that improve operational effectiveness and support organizational growth.
Success in this role requires exceptional attention to detail, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, the ability to manage complex projects independently, and a passion for process improvement and business optimization.
Responsibilities
You are a great fit for this position if you:
- Partner with senior leadership and operational teams to identify reporting needs and develop business intelligence solutions that support company objectives.
- Design, develop, and maintain executive dashboards, scorecards, reports, and analytics tools using Smartsheet and related platforms.
- Establish, monitor, and continuously improve company KPIs across Operations, Service, Project Management, Sales, Engineering, and Business Operations.
- Develop automated reporting processes that improve data accuracy, visibility, and decision-making.
- Analyze operational trends and business performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement and efficiency gains.
- Lead the administration, configuration, and optimization of the company's Smartsheet environment.
- Develop workflows, automations, forms, dashboards, and reports that support business operations and project execution.
- Integrate Smartsheet with Microsoft 365 applications, CRM platforms, project management tools, and other third-party systems.
- Create governance standards, documentation, and best practices for enterprise-wide reporting and Smartsheet utilization.
- Collaborate with department leaders to improve processes, eliminate inefficiencies, and implement scalable business solutions.
- Develop forecasting and performance measurement tools that support strategic business planning.
- Provide training, coaching, and support for end users across the organization.
- Serve as the subject matter expert for reporting, analytics, and Smartsheet functionality.
- Ensure reporting accuracy, data integrity, and consistency across all business intelligence platforms.
- Present findings, recommendations, and business insights to executive leadership in a clear and professional manner.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Five (5) or more years’ successful experience performing the requirement and responsibilities
- Knowledge of integrating Smartsheet with third party applications
- Ideally experienced with Smartsheet implementation with project focused teams and service teams.
- Ability to present training classes in a clear, professional manner that inspires learning and adapts to different knowledge levels as required
- Ability and desire to work well with other departments and teams (Development, L&D, Support, HR and Regional Management, and Corporate Executive)
- Demonstrated ability to accept responsibility and manage development projects and support responsibilities with limited supervision
- Prefer Certification in one or more of the following Smartsheet platforms- Core product certification, System Administration, Project management, Control Center Lead, and Blueprint builder
Other Eligibility Requirements
This position may be performed remotely; however, candidates located within a reasonable commuting distance of an i2G office are strongly preferred.
