ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a motivated and results-oriented Biomedical Sales Engineer to join our client's Sales & Engineering team. This role combines technical expertise with consultative selling to deliver innovative healthcare solutions across hospitals, healthcare projects, consultants, contractors, and government entities. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving business growth, developing lasting client relationships, and providing technical support throughout the sales lifecycle.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Sales & Business Development

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve and exceed assigned sales targets.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within hospitals, healthcare facilities, consultants, contractors, and government sectors.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals, consultants, contractors, and key decision-makers.
  • Promote the company's portfolio of medical equipment and healthcare solutions.
  • Prepare sales forecasts and business development plans for assigned territories.

Technical Sales Support

  • Deliver product demonstrations, technical presentations, and customer consultations.
  • Recommend suitable products and solutions based on customer requirements and project specifications.
  • Collaborate with engineering and project teams to prepare technical proposals and submittals.
  • Support tender submissions, project specifications, and prequalification processes.
  • Provide technical support throughout project execution and the sales cycle.

Client Relationship Management

  • Act as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the sales process.
  • Conduct regular client visits and follow up on quotations, tenders, and ongoing projects.
  • Deliver timely commercial and technical support to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Build long-term customer relationships that generate repeat business and referrals.

Proposal & Quotation Management

  • Prepare technical proposals, commercial quotations, and tender documentation.
  • Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and finance teams to develop competitive pricing.
  • Negotiate commercial terms and successfully close sales opportunities.
  • Ensure timely submission and follow-up of quotations until project award.

Product Knowledge & Market Development

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of medical technologies and industry trends.
  • Develop in-depth expertise across the company's product portfolio.
  • Provide product training and technical guidance to customers and internal teams.
  • Represent the company at exhibitions, conferences, seminars, and industry events.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and upcoming healthcare projects.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and pipeline updates.

Compliance

  • Ensure all sales activities comply with company policies and applicable healthcare regulations.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of customer interactions, quotations, contracts, and project records.

Requirements

Education / Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering or a related Engineering discipline.

Experience

  • Minimum 3–5 years of proven sales experience within the medical equipment or healthcare solutions industry.
  • Demonstrated track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
  • Experience selling medical equipment, medical gas systems and CSSD equipment is highly preferred.
  • Experience working with hospitals, healthcare projects, consultants, contractors, and government tenders is highly desirable.
