The mission of the Digital Technology department is to design, build, deliver and operate robust, efficient, and scalable technology solutions that align with our strategic, business and technology goals.
THE OPPORTUNITY
Aritzia is growing and our Digital Technology team is growing with it. This is a unique opportunity to be part of the team responsible for delivering everyday luxury experiences to Aritzia’s clients by designing and delivering automated, distributed and self-serve analytical interfaces such as reports and dashboards. As the Senior Data Visualization Engineer / Data Visualization Engineer, you will combine your deep understanding of our digital experience, with your passion for data visualization and user experience to streamline, optimize, and innovate analytical interfaces that are easily absorbed, heavily adopted and drive high quality decision making across the business. THE ROLE
As the Senior Data Visualization Engineer / Data Visualization Engineer you will:
- Build trustworthy, user-friendly and performant solutions that enable self serve insights, supporting a variety of Digital stakeholders
- Leverage design principles to design intuitive and interactive visualizations
- Maximize the value of new and existing solutions by driving adoption and enhance solution integrity through proactive monitoring and support
- Lead out product management cycle, to effectively plan out and deliver new Data & Analytics products
- Champion the function of Analytics Solutions in Digital through mentorship, training and collaboration
THE QUALIFICATIONS
The Senior Data Visualization Engineer / Data Visualization Engineer has:
- Proven skills, education, and/or applicable certifications in:
- Experience creating custom data visualizations and data experiences using modern tools (Tableau, Looker, Power BI)
- Ability to lead the design process from ideation to polished design, using sketches, wireframes, UX scenarios and mockups to present ideas
- Experience developing solutions using Cloud technologies
- Provide scalable solutions for handling large data volumes, complex, and interactive reporting
- Experience in digital analytics or marketing analytics is an asset
- Experience using SQL to query and transform data
- A commitment to learn and apply Aritzia's Values, Business and People Leadership principles
- The ability to collaborate fluently with cross-functional partners.

THE COMPENSATION
At Aritzia, we provide market-leading compensation packages designed to reward impact through our pay-for-performance philosophy.
The range for roles at this level is $100,000–$300,000 per year. Total compensation may include base, bonus and/or equity depending on the role, which has the potential to be greater than this range.
