Mer Group is looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our team and lead complex, large-scale technological projects in Israel and worldwide.
The role covers diverse fields such as smart cities, homeland security, cyber, intelligence, and advanced communications.
Responsibilities:
- Leading all project stages: Set Up, planning, execution, and budget control (Revenue and P&L)
- Preparing technical specifications, pricing, managing suppliers, receiving quotations, conducting negotiations, issuing purchase orders, and supervising execution while ensuring adherence to schedule, budget, and performance targets.
- Managing projects and tracking budget versus actual performance.
- Leading project kickoffs and preparing professional documentation (SRR, SOW, PDR, CDR).
- Working with external clients: requirements definition, technical guidance, demonstrations, and meetings with suppliers.
- Presenting project status and progress to management while meeting profitability goals.
- Developing and consolidating project plans, including milestones, tasks, schedules, budgets, and continuous updates based on actual progress.
- Monitoring BOM and overseeing the preparation of execution specifications and bills of quantities.
Requirements
- 5+ Proven experience managing technological projects with government and/or municipal bodies.
- Global project management experience – mandatory.
- Practical knowledge and hands-on experience with project management methodologies such as Waterfall, Agile, Lean, etc.
- Strong ability to manage and control budgets, drive profitability, and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Excellent command of English (working with international stakeholders).
- Proficiency in preparing execution specifications and bills of quantities.
- Relevant academic degree – Engineering, Industrial Engineering & Management, Business Administration, or other technological field – mandatory.
- Experience in HLS projects – an advantage.
- Experience with Priority, Excel, MS Project, Gantt.
