Full description

Our Client, a Global Health Care company, seeks an ServiceNow Project Manager to support a broad portfolio of technology initiatives across the organization. This role is part of a Project Management Office (PMO) managed-services model designed to provide on-demand project management capabilities based on evolving business priorities, project demand, and portfolio requirements.

The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering technology projects from initiation through completion. Project Managers within the PMO Flex Pool may be assigned to initiatives across multiple IT functions, business areas, geographies, and levels of complexity.

This is a 6 month contractual role, with the likelihood of extension, based on the client's needs. Candidate's must be wiling to work the Client's EST preferred hours.

The Role:

  • Lead IT projects from initiation through successful delivery and closeout.
  • Develop and manage project plans, schedules, milestones, resources, risks, issues, and dependencies.
  • Partner with business and technology stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria.
  • Lead cross-functional and geographically distributed project teams.
  • Manage project governance, status reporting, steering committee materials, and executive communications.
  • Proactively identify, assess, and resolve project risks, issues, and dependencies.
  • Manage scope changes and ensure alignment with project objectives, timelines, and budgets.
  • Coordinate with third-party vendors, technology partners, and internal shared-service teams as required.
  • Apply appropriate Agile, Scrum, or hybrid project management methodologies.
  • Ensure compliance with PMO standards, processes, and governance requirements.
  • Transition effectively between projects and support changing business priorities as part of the PMO Flex Pool.
  • Manage project financials, including forecasting, budget tracking, variance analysis, and resource planning.
  • Leverage ServiceNow to support project tracking, status reporting, workflow management, and visibility across project activities.
  • Maintain and update project plans, milestones, risks, issues, dependencies, and action items within ServiceNow or related project management modules.
  • Use ServiceNow dashboards and reporting capabilities to monitor project progress, resource utilization, delivery milestones, and key performance indicators.
  • Support project governance and PMO processes through ServiceNow, ensuring accurate documentation, consistent reporting, and adherence to established standards.
  • Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to improve project workflows, data quality, and reporting processes within ServiceNow.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience managing IT projects within complex enterprise environments.
  • Proven experience leading cross-functional technology projects from initiation through completion.
  • Strong project planning, risk management, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
  • Experience working with globally distributed teams across multiple functions and geographies.
  • Strong proficiency with project management and collaboration tools.
  • Experience using ServiceNow in a project management, PMO, or enterprise technology delivery environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly to changing business requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

  • PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification.
  • Experience working in a PMO, Global Business Services, shared services, or managed-services environment.
  • Experience within healthcare, life sciences, or another highly regulated industry.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum and hybrid delivery methodologies.
  • Experience managing technology vendors and third-party service providers.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow project and portfolio management capabilities, dashboards, reporting, and workflow automation.
  • Experience supporting enterprise PMO governance, portfolio reporting, or resource management processes through ServiceNow.
