This is a remote position.

Role Summary:

We are looking for a mid-level Full Stack Web Developer with strong experience in C#/.NET web application development, Python, JavaScript, and SQL Server. The ideal candidate should be comfortable maintaining legacy and modern web applications, contributing to secure and high-quality code, working with CI/CD practices, and using AI-assisted development tools to accelerate delivery and prototyping.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, enhance, and maintain secure web applications using C#/.NET, Python, JavaScript, and SQL Server.
  • Create and iterate functional prototypes based on business or market requirements using AI-assisted development tools.
  • Support application modernization, integrations, bug fixing, and performance improvements across the web application stack.
  • Collaborate with team members and customers to clarify requirements, estimate solutions, and deliver working software.
  • Communicate ideas, issues, risks, and impediments on time to support predictable delivery.
  • Contribute to code quality through unit testing, clean design, maintainable implementation, and secure development practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field; equivalent professional experience may be considered.
  • Mid-level English proficiency for written and verbal communication with internal teams and customers.
  • 5+ years of professional web application development experience using C# and .NET / ASP.NET.
  • 2+ years of hands-on Python development experience for backend services, scripting, automation, integrations, or prototyping.
  • 5+ years of JavaScript experience, including practical use of jQuery and TypeScript.
  • Experience with ASP.NET Web Forms, ASP.NET MVC, ADO.NET, and Entity Framework 6 or higher.
  • Working knowledge of Angular and modern front-end development practices.
  • Strong SQL Server experience, including database design, queries, stored procedures, and performance-aware development.
  • Solid understanding of code quality practices, unit testing, design patterns, SOLID principles, and Clean Code principles.
  • Knowledge of application security practices, including OWASP, authentication hardening, SQL Server security, and prevention of SQL injection vulnerabilities.
  • Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Azure DevOps.
  • Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor, Replit, or Google AI Studio.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks such as React, Next.js, Vue.js, or similar.
  • Experience working in the insurance, financial services, or regulated industries.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
  • Experience building functional prototypes or proof-of-concepts with AI-assisted development platforms.
