WHO WE ARE

Founded in 2013 as Scape Australia, leaders in student housing, we’ve since grown into a vertically integrated living platform known as The Living Company; managing $18B in assets across Student Living (Scape), Rent to Live – Affordable Housing (RTL Co.), and Retirement Living (Aveo); spanning site origination, investment, planning, design, development, construction, and operations. The Living Company is reshaping the way Australians live by delivering sustainable, community-driven, and high-quality spaces across the country.

Location: Sydney CBD HQ (5 days on-site)

Reports to: Business Systems Lead - PMS

THE ROLE

As our Junior Business Systems Analyst, you’ll work alongside our Technology and Ops team to support, improve and implement the systems that run Scape, spanning property management, CRM, ERP, financial and building operations platforms. You’ll troubleshoot issues, document processes and identify opportunities to improve how we work, while building your business systems expertise.

This is an opportunity to build your business analysis and systems expertise while growing with The Living Company. As the group expands into Build to Rent throughout 2027 and beyond, your role and exposure will continue to evolve.

Day-to-day you will be (but not limited to):

  • Support Operations Managers and the wider Technology team across our Scape properties, helping colleagues get the most out of systems such as StarRez (PMS), Salesforce (CRM) and Rapid Global incident reporting.
  • Investigate and troubleshoot system issues, working with users and the Technology team to identify solutions and improve system performance.
  • Engage with stakeholders to understand business needs, gather requirements, map workflows and document processes.
  • Identify opportunities to improve existing systems and business processes, helping assess new solutions and contribute to business cases.
  • Assist with vendor engagement, system evaluations and implementation activities to help deliver practical solutions for the business.
  • Create and maintain process documentation, share knowledge across the team and support ad hoc technology and business improvement projects.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

  • Experience in business systems, IT, property or student accommodation is valued, but attitude is everything. We’re looking for someone proactive, curious and eager to learn, develop and make a difference. Bonus points if you have experience with StarRez, Salesforce or Rapid Global!
  • A tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a genuine passion for helping others and supporting non-technical colleagues.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, with good attention to detail and an interest in improving systems and processes.
  • The ability to manage competing priorities, adapt to a fast-paced environment and work collaboratively with different teams.

WHY SHOULD YOU JOIN?

  • Be part of a purpose-led organisation shaping how Australians live
  • Grow your career over time, with a path to extend your impact across Build To Rent (RTL Co.) as the group expands
  • Exposure to a large, diversified living platform with real scale and complexity
  • Enjoy a range of health and wellbeing benefits, including paid leave days, health insurance, retail and leisure discounts, annual vaccinations, skin checks, employee referral programs and employee assistance programs.
