HR Business Analyst / Payroll Process Developer
We at WeQuel are now looking for an experienced HR Business Analyst with a strong focus on Payroll processes and HR systems in Södertälje, where you will become an important part of an ongoing HR system transformation project, with a focus on the design, alignment and implementation of project-driven changes. As a Payroll Process Developer, you will ensure that Payroll and HR requirements are translated into clear, standardized and harmonized processes that support both strategic objectives and operational efficiency. You will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders and support process development throughout the transformation, from requirements gathering and impact analysis to process design, documentation, testing, rollout and stabilization. The assignment also has an important change perspective: you will help embed new ways of working into processes and ensure that changes are understood, adopted and sustained within the organization.
As a consultant with us, you will have the opportunity to work with one of our clients, leading companies within industry and manufacturing, where you contribute to optimizing processes, implementing new HR and Payroll technology and creating sustainable ways of working.
Your responsibilities:
- Documentation, maintenance and updating of requirements for the new Payroll solution
- Translation of Payroll requirements into clear process designs
- Development of future-state Payroll processes and workflows
- Requirements gathering and impact analysis for process and system changes
- Keeping process and requirements documentation accurate, accessible and up to date
- Collaboration with project and change teams on implementation readiness
- Testing of processes and the new solution
- Development and updating of user and administrator guides
- Rollout and stabilization activities
- Implementation of new ways of working
- Alignment between processes, system requirements and change activities
You will work in an evolving project environment where you drive progress through clear follow-up and coordination, while collaborating across project, business, HR and change stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Experience in process development, process mapping and workflow design
- Experience in projects and/or transformation initiatives
- Experience gathering, documenting and translating business requirements into processes and workflows
- Relevant academic education or equivalent professional experience
- Fluent Swedish and English (required)
- Strong practical knowledge of Payroll and HR administration
- Good understanding of People & Culture processes, particularly Payroll and time-related processes
- Experience with HR and Payroll systems, e.g. SD Worx Payroll, SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central and Time, SAP SuccessFactors Payroll, SAP Payroll or similar
- Strong documentation skills
- Experience with structured process frameworks and maintaining structured process documentation
- Understanding of change journeys and how process design supports adoption of new systems and ways of working
- Ability to collaborate effectively across project, business, HR and change stakeholders
- Collaborative and people-oriented, builds trust and creates alignment across stakeholder groups
- Structured and proactive, comfortable managing complexity
- Adaptable and resilient when priorities shift
- Enjoys facilitating collaboration in diverse, cross-functional teams and involving relevant stakeholders
- Strong change perspective – understands how well-designed processes, clear documentation and structured ways of working drive successful transformation and long-term adoption
Assignment details:
- Start: As soon as possible
- End: Estimated assignment duration of 15 months from start
- Workload: 100% (full-time)
- Location: Södertälje
- Remote: 40% (hybrid setup – three days per week on-site at the client's office in Södertälje)
