You will bridge data science and production software by building NLP and machine learning capabilities. These models will be integrated into operational Java/Spring applications deployed on AWS.

Full description

Active TS/SCI with Polygraph required. U.S. citizenship required.

Location: On-site in McLean, VA (Full-Time).

Bridge data science and production software. You'll build NLP and machine learning capabilities in Python and ship them inside Java/Spring applications on AWS for a federal national-security mission.

What you'll do

  • Build NLP capabilities with spaCy, Gensim, NLTK and Hugging Face Transformers
  • - Develop and integrate deep learning models in PyTorch, TensorFlow or Keras
  • - Build backend services in Java, Spring and Spring Data JPA on Oracle/SQL
  • - Deploy on AWS and Linux with Git, Jenkins and Apache Tomcat
  • - Integrate models into operational applications and workflows

What you bring (required)

  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
  • - Strong Python and NLP experience (spaCy, Gensim or NLTK)
  • - PyTorch, TensorFlow or Keras
  • - SQL
  • - Linux, Git and AWS

Nice to have

  • Strong Java: Spring, Spring Data JPA, multithreading, JVM tuning
  • - Maven/Gradle, Jenkins CI/CD, Oracle, Tomcat
  • - Text classification, topic modeling or LLM fine-tuning
  • - GPU workloads
