GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION
POSITION: Data Analyst SUMMARY: The manager of data and analytics collects, cleans, models and reports enterprise data to optimize operational efficiency, track clinical and business metrics, and helps guide executive decision making.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Data gathering and management – Extracts large scale operational, financial and / or clinical data using SQL and automated pipelines
2. Performance Reporting – Build and maintain interactive dashboards (Power BI, Tableau) tracking key performance indicators
3. Process optimization – Analyze workflow bottlenecks, resource allocation, and practice trends to recommend data driven improvements
4. Cross functional collaboration – Partner with administrative, finance, and IT departments to translate business goals into analytical requirements
5. Data governance – Ensure secure handling of sensitive organized or client data in compliance with internal and external regulations
6. Strategic leadership – help leadership define the organizations data strategy and analytical roadmap to align with longer-term organization goals
7. Cross departmental data integration – standardize data collection across diverse practice software, HER/CRM platforms and billing systems to create a unified corporate data architecture
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education – Bachelor’s degree in data analytics, statistics, computer science, economics, health informatics, or related quantitative fields.
Technical skills – Advance proficiency in SQL, Excel, data visualization tools. And a working knowledge of Python or R is a PLUS
Advanced technical vision as a manager – Deep expertise in enterprise data architecture, data warehousing concepts, and advanced analytics platforms
Experience – 5 years of relevant analytical experience, ideally within a large practice environment, health care environment and / or corporate environment.
Soft skills – strong communication and data storytelling skills to present complex technical findings to non technical stakeholders.
