Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Developer with strong expertise in Salesforce deployment automation, release management, and DevOps practices. This role will focus on building reliable Salesforce deployment pipelines, improving release quality, and enabling faster and safer delivery across multiple Salesforce environments.

 

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Copado or comparable Salesforce DevOps tooling and is comfortable managing deployments, version control, environment strategy, CI/CD processes, release governance, and deployment troubleshooting.

 

Enterprise experience strongly preferred.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

* Design, implement, and maintain Salesforce CI/CD pipelines using Copado and related Salesforce DevOps tooling.

* Manage Salesforce deployments across development, QA, UAT, and production environments.

* Support version control and branching strategies for Salesforce development and release workflows.

* Coordinate release orchestration, environment management, backup, and rollback processes.

* Partner with Salesforce developers, administrators, QA teams, and release stakeholders to define and improve deployment processes.

* Troubleshoot deployment failures, Salesforce metadata conflicts, and environment synchronization issues.

* Establish and support standards for release governance, testing, compliance, and change management.

* Automate repetitive deployment and validation tasks to improve delivery speed and quality.

* Document release procedures, deployment checklists, and operational runbooks.

* Help improve deployment reliability, release predictability, and overall process discipline.

 

Qualifications

Must-Have Skills

 

* 4+ years of Salesforce platform experience, including deployment and release management.

* Hands-on experience with Copado or similar Salesforce DevOps tools.

* Strong understanding of Salesforce metadata, packaging, environment strategy, and release lifecycle management.

* Experience with Git, branching models, automated testing, and CI/CD concepts.

* Familiarity with Salesforce Change Sets, Metadata API, DevOps Center, and deployment troubleshooting.

* Strong coordination and communication skills across technical and business teams.

 

Nice-to-Have Skills

 

* Copado Fundamentals or advanced Copado certification.

* Salesforce Administrator, Platform Developer, or related Salesforce certifications.

* Experience working in regulated or large-scale enterprise delivery environments.

* Knowledge of test automation and release governance best practices.
