WORK YOU’LL DO As a Cloud Network Engineer, you will implement and maintain secure, resilient cloud networks across public and private cloud infrastructures. You will be collaborating with other team members to sustain cloud network solutions in a cross-functional environment applying Software Defined Networking (SDN), automation and cloud-networking best practices. Responsibilities:

  • Implement, operate and continuously improve secure, resilient and scalable cloud network solutions across Microsoft Azure, AWS and/or OCI, including integration with private-cloud and on-premises environments.
  • Configure and manage cloud networking services, including VNet/VPC, routing, subnetting, peering, VPN, DNS, load balancing, network security controls and hybrid/multi-cloud connectivity.
  • Implement and support SDN and cloud-native networking architectures, applying appropriate segmentation, routing, security and high-availability patterns.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot and optimize network availability, connectivity, performance and capacity across cloud and hybrid environments.
  • Automate network provisioning, configuration and validation through Infrastructure as Code, scripting, version control and controlled CI/CD practices.
  • Apply cloud-networking best practices for security, resilience, disaster recovery, observability, configuration/change management, cost optimization and technical documentation.
  • Coordinate technical activities across cloud, network, security, infrastructure and application teams, supporting cloud migrations, service implementation, incident resolution and continuous improvement.

WHO WE RE LOOKING FOR?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Telecommunications, Natural Sciences or a related technical field.
  • 4+ years of experience in IT projects involving public-cloud platforms (Microsoft Azure, AWS and/or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)), with hands-on responsibility for cloud networking infrastructure and services.
  • Strong networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, subnetting, routing, BGP/OSPF, DNS, VPN, firewalls, load balancing and network security.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure, AWS and/or OCI networking services, including VNet/VPC, routing, peering, security controls and hybrid cloud connectivity.
  • Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and network automation, using technologies such as Terraform, scripting, Git/version control and CI/CD practices.
  • Cloud network certifications in Microsoft, AWS and/or OCI with specialization in management of cloud networking services is mandatory.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, stakeholder-management and technical coordination skills, with good written and verbal communication in Greek and English.
