What they look for
Requirements
Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in product management within security, AI/ML, or developer platforms. A strong understanding of the modern AI stack, including LLMs, agents, and orchestration frameworks, is required.
Full description
We're a well-funded cybersecurity startup building the future of secure networking, and we're looking for a Product Manager to lead our AI Security product line.
Enterprises are adopting AI faster than they can secure it. Employees are pasting sensitive data into chatbots, teams are wiring LLMs into production, and agents are starting to act on their own. Security leaders are being asked to get visibility and control over all of it, and the tooling to do that barely exists yet.
That's the product you'll own. This is a zero-to-one role in a space that is being defined right now, and you'll help define it.
If you're deep in AI, obsessive about what's shipping every week, and want to build security products for a threat surface that didn't exist two years ago, we'd love to meet you.
What You'll Do
- Own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for our AI Security product line
- Define how we deliver AI visibility, governance, and control: shadow AI discovery, prompt and response inspection, data protection for LLM traffic, and policy enforcement
- Build for the agentic era, including agent identity, authorization, tool access, and guardrails for autonomous systems
- Go deep on the threat landscape: prompt injection, data exfiltration through AI apps, model and supply chain risk, and emerging attack patterns
- Turn a fast-moving, ambiguous space into clear specs and a shippable roadmap
- Work directly with CISOs, AI governance leads, and security architects to understand what they're actually struggling with
- Partner with engineering, research, and design to ship quickly and iterate on customer feedback
- Align the product with real-world requirements from frameworks like the EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, and OWASP for LLMs
- Support GTM with positioning, messaging, and technical narrative in a noisy, crowded market
Requirements
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years in Product Management, building security, AI/ML, or developer platform products
- Strong understanding of LLMs and the modern AI stack: model APIs, RAG, agents, MCP, and orchestration frameworks
- Solid security foundation, ideally in data protection, DLP, identity, application security, or cloud security
- Track record of shipping zero-to-one products in ambiguous, fast-moving markets
- Genuine hands-on curiosity about AI. You build with these tools, not just read about them
- Excellent communication skills with technical teams, executives, and customers
- Experience at a high-growth B2B SaaS or cybersecurity startup
- Familiarity with SASE, SSE, or Zero Trust architectures is a strong advantage
- Technical background or ability to prototype (Python, JavaScript, SQL) is a strong advantage
Why Join Us?
- Own an entire product line in one of the most important emerging categories in security
- Be early enough to shape the category, not just compete in it
- Join a fast-growing, well-funded cybersecurity startup
- Work directly with experienced founders and industry leaders
- Ship fast, learn from real enterprise customers, and iterate
- Huge growth opportunity as we scale the product organization
If you want to build security for how enterprises actually work now, and you're energized rather than intimidated by a category that's still being written, we'd love to hear from you.
