Full description
Be Part Of A High-Performing Team
Join a technically driven organization delivering complex engineered solutions for large-scale infrastructure and data center customers. This team operates at the intersection of engineering, procurement, manufacturing, production, and customer delivery, requiring strong collaboration and disciplined project execution. The environment is fast-moving and highly customer-facing, with Project Managers serving as the central point of coordination to keep complicated technical programs moving from award through final delivery.
What’s In Store For You
- Fully onsite in Jacksonville, Florida, with the team operating essentially five days per week in the office.
- Occasional remote flexibility may be accommodated based on business and project needs.
- Approximately 20% travel, primarily to customer and data center sites.
- Opportunity to take ownership of technically complex, high-visibility projects supporting major customers.
- Potential long-term advancement into Program Management after demonstrating strong project execution and leadership, potentially within 1–2 years.
How You Will Make An Impact
- Own complex technical projects from award through final customer delivery, serving as the primary driver of execution.
- Establish, manage, and monitor project budgets, schedules, milestones, risks, dependencies, and deliverables.
- Coordinate engineering activities and ensure technical milestones remain aligned with overall project commitments.
- Initiate procurement requirements and partner closely with buyers and supply chain teams to keep materials and equipment on schedule.
- Coordinate with manufacturing and production teams, identifying missing components, bottlenecks, schedule risks, and required corrective actions.
- Interpret technical drawings and participate effectively in engineering discussions without needing to be the engineer designing the product.
- Maintain accountability across cross-functional teams and ensure open action items are driven through completion.
- Serve as a primary customer-facing project contact, providing clear status updates and managing expectations throughout execution.
- Translate customer requests and project changes into actionable information for engineering, procurement, manufacturing, and production teams.
- Step directly into project issues when needed, helping teams resolve obstacles while protecting schedule, budget, quality, and customer commitments.
Requirements
Do You Bring Proven Success in Complex Technical Project Management?
- Bachelor’s degree required.

- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to quickly learn engineered products, systems, and manufacturing processes.
- Experience managing projects involving technical drawings, engineering milestones, procurement, manufacturing, schedules, and budgets.
- Strong preference for experience within data centers, energy, industrial manufacturing, HVAC/thermal systems, engineered-to-order equipment, modular infrastructure, engineering, or similarly technical environments.
- Engineering degree is not required, provided the candidate can confidently engage with engineers and understand technical project requirements.
- Strong customer-facing communication skills with experience serving as the conduit between external customers and internal technical teams.
- Proven ability to drive accountability across multiple functions, identify risks early, and keep complicated projects moving.
- Highly technical military leadership backgrounds, including Navy Nuclear or comparable environments, are viewed positively but are not required.
