Position Title: Senior Electrical Security System Engineer Location: Huntsville, AL Employment Type: Full-Time Salary Range: $135,000-$167,000

Position Summary RPI Group, Inc. is looking for a Senior Electronic Security System (ESS) Engineer to support our U.S. Army customer at the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Engineering and Support Center in Huntsville, AL. The Senior ESS Engineer will represent the company with engineering products and solutions for intrusion detection, access control, and video surveillance.

This position is contingent upon award of contract.

Key Responsibilities• Provide senior-level engineering support for Electronic Security System (ESS) products, equipment, software, and solutions.

  • Design, evaluate, integrate, and troubleshoot ESS solutions supporting intrusion detection, access control, and video surveillance systems.
  • Develop and review technical designs, system architectures, equipment configurations, specifications, and engineering documentation.
  • Analyze customer requirements and develop appropriate ESS technical solutions in accordance with applicable standards and project requirements.
  • Provide technical expertise and recommendations regarding ESS equipment, software, system integration, and interoperability.
  • Support system installation, configuration, integration, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities.
  • Evaluate existing ESS systems and recommend upgrades, modifications, replacements, or improvements.
  • Conduct technical reviews and provide engineering recommendations to customers, project teams, and other stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with manufacturers, vendors, subcontractors, and internal technical personnel on ESS equipment and system requirements.
  • Prepare technical reports, design documentation, test procedures, assessments, and other engineering deliverables.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technical personnel.
  • Support development of technical approaches, estimates, proposals, and other documentation for ESS-related task orders and projects.
  • Represent the company in technical discussions and customer engagements involving ESS engineering products, equipment, software, and solutions.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications• Minimum of 10 years of experience.

  • B.S. degree in Engineering or related field, from an accredited university or college.
  • Currently possesses, or has the ability to obtain and maintain, a U.S. DoD Secret clearance.
