The role
We are hiring a remote Cybersecurity Analyst covering Asia hours. This role supplements our Africa and Dubai teams so Vigilbase can provide better follow-the-sun coverage, faster response, and stronger 24/7 support for customers.
What you will do
- Monitor, triage, and investigate security alerts during Asia time-zone coverage.
- Support customer security operations, escalations, and incident workflows.
- Use Flarehawk and related tools to document investigations, reduce noise, and improve handoffs.
- Coordinate with Africa, Dubai, and North America coverage teams to maintain continuity.
- Write clear investigation notes, customer summaries, and escalation recommendations.
- Improve analyst playbooks, shift handoffs, and operational quality.
What we are looking for
- Experience in SOC, cybersecurity operations, incident response, IT security, or technical support.
- Availability to work Asia business hours or agreed shift coverage.
- Strong written communication and careful handoff discipline.
- Understanding of alerts, logs, endpoint/network/cloud signals, and investigation workflows.
- Comfort working remotely with distributed international teams.
Nice to have
- Experience with SIEM, EDR, Cloudflare, cloud platforms, ticketing systems, or case management workflows.
- Experience in an MSP, MSSP, SOC, or customer support environment.
- Relevant security certifications or equivalent practical experience.
