We are looking for an experienced Senior Platform Engineer with strong expertise in OpenShift Administration, DevOps automation, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and cloud-native technologies.
The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on experience managing large-scale OpenShift environments, automating infrastructure deployments, building CI/CD pipelines, implementing GitOps-driven delivery models, and supporting cloud migration initiatives.
This role requires a strong engineering mindset with expertise across Linux, Kubernetes/OpenShift, automation, platform engineering, and enterprise infrastructure solutions. The candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, standardizing, and automating technology platforms while ensuring scalability, security, availability, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities• Design, install, configure, manage, and automate large-scale OpenShift clusters.
- Develop and implement automation solutions for platform provisioning, configuration management, and deployment processes.
- Drive Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices using Terraform, Ansible, and automation frameworks.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and support modern DevOps delivery practices.
- Implement GitOps-driven configuration management and application deployment approaches.
- Support application migration initiatives from traditional environments to cloud and container platforms.
- Design standardized technology stacks and reusable platform components.
- Develop automation solutions to enable zero-touch and unattended deployments.
- Perform platform capacity planning, performance optimization, and scalability improvements.
- Collaborate with architects, application teams, security teams, and infrastructure teams to deliver enterprise platform solutions.
- Participate in technical design discussions and provide recommendations on platform architecture.
- Troubleshoot complex platform issues related to OpenShift, Kubernetes, networking, security, and integrations.
- Support production stability by improving automation, reliability, monitoring, and operational processes.
- Contribute to engineering best practices, open-source adoption, and continuous platform improvements.
Required Technical SkillsOpenShift / Kubernetes• Strong hands-on experience in Red Hat OpenShift Administration.
- Experience installing, configuring, upgrading, and managing enterprise-scale OpenShift clusters.
- Strong understanding of Kubernetes concepts and container technologies.
- Understanding of OpenShift virtualization (KubeVirt).
- Red Hat Certified OpenShift Administrator certification is preferred.
